Required materials:
A3 sheet
pen
Wires (wires from clothes cleaning or garden wire - approx. 40 cm long)
How to find the perfectly fitting saddle for your Icelandic horse:
First you take the cross dimension at three different places on horseback. Start three fingers wide behind the shoulder blade - this is the first transverse measurement that is now being measured. This is followed by the second and third transverse dimensions at 15 cm intervals. (For horses with a short back, choose a smaller distance between the wires so that the saddle is not behind the last rib!)
You have to shape the three wires so that they lie across the horse's back. Cavities between the horse's back and the wire should be avoided. So adjust the wires at the three locations described.
Now the wires are transferred to the A3 sheet.
To do this, please lay the wires according to the sketch on the A3 sheet and transfer the inside of the wires with the pen.
Now the length dimension is determined with the fourth wire. The fourth wire is then placed lengthways on the spine according to the sketch. Again, there should be no space between the wire and the horse's back. The wire should go beyond the measuring points of the transverse dimension. Now the transfer to the A3 sheet follows, whereby the distances of the transverse dimensions should be specified in "cm".
Finished! Now you can send your sketch together with the other documents to us!
