TR Saddle Pad
The Topreiter Saddle pad combines the advantages of a saddle pad with those of a saddle, offering both stability and flexibility for rider and horse. The heavily contoured knee rolls provide excellent support while maintaining closer contact with the horse without the saddle tree.
Compared to previous models, we have further optimised the TR saddle pad – the pads are now significantly thicker. This ensures optimal spinal freedom and a slight inclination to adapt perfectly.

With specially shaped panels that taper towards the back, a saddle tree designed specifically for the Icelandic horse, and a weight-bearing surface that does not extend beyond the 18th vertebra, we ensure even pressure distribution and maximum comfort for both horse and rider.
Made from high-quality Spanish leather that is naturally refined and sealed, our materials are produced in Europe by long-standing partners, while our saddles are expertly handcrafted.
Our wool panels are not simply stuffed but carefully layered in longitudinal sections to prevent clumping and ensure an even, comfortable contact surface.
Our saddles are designed to support both horse and rider without restricting movement. This is especially crucial in the unique gaits of the Icelandic horse, such as tölt and pace, where the horse’s drive must flow freely through its body. Our models are constructed to absorb and distribute the horse’s power evenly, without limiting the shoulders or back.
